Youngblood League Starts

One of the new developments at the Game Matrix is the new Youngblood League that we started in March. Currently the youngbloods are meeting every Wednesday night from 4:00 to 8:00, and they will get a weekend day every month. They are also eligible to come in any open gaming day as well. Right now they are playing a large part in Campaign Tyranids!

The Youngbloods league is a very successful program for kids 16 and under, where they form their own club and get to play and do a lot of things at the store together. We will be starting a League for them as well, though right now it is a lot of open gaming to make sure everyone is playing by the right rules. We have already started playing big Mega-battles, where everyone brings 500 points.
Also on Wednesday it is the Game Matrix painting night, so when the Youngbloods are not playing they can sit down at our painting tables and finish or start their armies paint jobs. We will be mixing in a lot of other hobby-related activities on Wednesday nights as well, like scenery nights.

So if you know someone 16 and under, let them know to stop by on Wednesday night, and we can give them a demo or get them started in the Youngbloods League!
